the hotel met all requests. we truly enjoyed the facilities offered by this great venue. the helpful staff made a good impression. our well-equipped room was huge, had tons of space. the location was good and comfy, near to the mall of the world, and the airport. furthermore, near the metro line.

I chose Grand Mercure because it was within walking distance to the Guangdong Museum of Art. The front desk staff, especially Jack, pleasantly surprised me with their excellent service. I also enjoyed the open bar near the reception, offering a variety of beverages. The hotel's location in Huachengyuan was convenient, and the restaurant specializing in Chinese cuisine was a delightful experience. the complimentary amenities, such as the free mini bar and Le Lounge access, added to the overall satisfaction of my stay.

The location isn't clear, and even using MAPS or contacting the hotel didn't provide much help. The reception staff couldn't provide clear directions in Chinese.

The value for money at the hotel was great. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. The location of the hotel was convenient, just a 2-minute walk from New Town. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the two front service managers who provided useful information about traveling.

During our stay at Grand Mercure, we were impressed by the cleanliness and modernity of the hotel. The staff at check-in were extremely friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome right from the start. The location of the hotel was ideal, as it was just a 5-minute walk to the metro station and close to the US consulate. Despite being in a busy area, our room was surprisingly quiet and we didn't hear any noise from other guests or the lobby. The room itself had some great amenities, including a rain shower, adjustable shower head, and electronic toilet lid. We also appreciated the little touches like fluffy towels and robes, plenty of coat hangers, and a table and chairs for enjoying take-out food in the room. The USB charging plugs on both sides of the bed and in the bathroom were convenient for charging our devices. The mini bar items were a pleasant surprise, as they were free of charge. We also liked that the hotel was making an effort to be eco-friendly by not providing one-time use plastics unless requested. our stay at Grand Mercure was comfortable and enjoyable.

A fantastic stay in one of the most vibrant areas of the city. Perfectly located in the heart of the financial district, with the Opera House just around the corner and most of the shopping malls within walking distance. the room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom. Service was friendly and attentive, especially during breakfast, which offered a wide range of Asian and Western options. the hotel also boasts a fantastic gym and a beautiful rooftop pool with stunning views of the city.

The soundproofing of the windows could be improved, as a few guests reported being disturbed by outside noise.

The complementary drinks and buffet were helpful and tasty, especially during the long days of touring. the hotel's location was perfect, just a few steps away from the main attractions and shopping centers. the room was quite comfortable and spacious, which made it easy to relax and unwind.

The windows were not sound-proof as they claimed, and the honking horns of taxis and the heavy machinery sound made it impossible for me to get a good night's sleep.

the room was spacious and elegantly decorated, complete with top, of, the, line facilities that catered to all my needs. the restaurant was exquisite and offered a diverse range of delectable dishes. the private facilities, such as the swimming pool and bar/lounge area, were immaculately designed, adding to the overall opulence of the hotel. Plus, the location was perfect, situated in the heart of the CBD, making it easy to explore the city.

The only minor drawback I experienced was the noise level outside of the hotel, which could be heard even with the windows closed. this was outweighed by the vast array of amenities and exceptional service offered by the hotel.

I recently stayed at Maxx By Steigenberger hotel for one night. The location was excellent, with a good bar/restaurant and two coffee shops just a minute away. The breakfasts were delicious and the service was excellent, with prompt cleaning. The bed was huge and comfortable. I loved the amenities, such as the rain shower, multi-adjustable shower head, and electronic toilet lid. The hotel also provided nice little perks, like free mini bar items and snacks in the lounge area. The staff were super friendly and efficient, making check-in a breeze.
